The grounds
Set in a stunning and secluded conservation area on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire and directly opposite the 12th century village church, The Rectory sits in 3.5 acres of grounds surrounded by orchards and open countryside. This quiet ‘no through lane’ leads down to the river Teme and woods beyond yet is just a short walk from the village pub attached to which is the quaint, community run village shop. Here you could be miles from anywhere and with no passing traffic, the pace is slow to horizontal yet within just a 15 minute drive there’s the city of Worcester with its pubs, bars, restaurants and shops, so there’s everything you need close to hand.
Each cottage has its own courtyard or garden with seating and BBQ and guests are encouraged to cut herbs from the potager garden or to scrump from the orchard when pickings are rich!! You’ll find free-ranging ducks and the occasional peacock roaming around the grounds together with Max, The Rectory cat.
