The Olde Rectory properties

If you have tired of smart city hotel breaks with restricted meal times and limited privacy, this is the perfect solution. Here you’ll find the comfort and luxury of a boutique hotel together with the space and privacy of home (without the doorbell!!)

You may prefer to shop, cook and clean for yourself but you could forget the fuss of self-catering with our five star concierge service, primed to fill your fridge with mouth-watering local food, chill champagne for your arrival, arrange a maid to clean up for you when you leave and lots more besides.

Everything has been designed to help you make the most of your precious time so that you can finally have that long-awaited ‘duvet day’, eat dinner in your pyjamas or sit and watch the stars in your bikini at midnight – whatever you want to find time to enjoy.

The Rectory’s six luxury holiday cottages offer a perfect combination of chic boutique boltholes for two, cottages for families and party houses for group accommodation whether for weekend breaks, midweek escapes or long, lazy vacations.

Within the Rectory grounds are five properties, all 16th century barns, coach houses and kitchens having been thoughtfully converted into stylish and totally individual properties, each with its original features carefully conserved. Just a mile along the lane, nestled in a tiny hamlet is a sixth property, Tedney Lodge, a big holiday house offering complete privacy and with panoramic views over the glorious Herefordshire countryside.

Sleeping from 2-25 in 14 bedrooms and with additional occasional beds for a further 14, the cottages can also be secured for exclusive weekend or midweek lets for up to 39 guests, a popular choice for birthday celebrations, hen weekends, girlie weekends, pampering parties, spa breaks, wedding parties, or as a small team building venue.

On a practical note, all bed linen and towels are provided together with bed settee linen and towels for occasional guests upon request. In bathrooms, you'll find soap, toilet rolls and complimentary travel shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. Kitchens are fully equipped for the keenest of cooks and are supplied with tea bags, ground coffee and sugar and a jug of fresh milk chilling in the fridge. You will find all necessary cleaning products including dishwasher tablets (where required), tea towels, hand towels and dish cloths and necessities including salt, pepper, cooking oil, foil, cling film and kitchen roll. There is an excellent village shop for further supplies throughout your stay.
