Malverns by Moonlight
On 2nd October 2009, the magnificent Malvern Hills played host to some 650 ladies, many in fancy dress and wigs and each donning head torches, all in convoy along 5 miles of peaks and ridges of the hills. Even by moonlight, the views from the ridges were magnificent and although it was not possible to enjoy views of all five counties as would be possible in daylight, the valleys full of twinkling lights below looked pretty spectacular. Many thousands of pounds were raised for this very worthy cause.
Just a 25 minute drive from The Rectory, the Malverns can be enjoyed at at any time of the year, you could even try seeing in the New Year on the peak with a bottle of bottle of bubbly and phenomenal views of all the firework displays for miles around!!
