Christmas at The Olde Rectory offers a quintessentially traditional experience, a step back in time to days gone by. The lovely Norman church opposite offers both a fun Christmas Eve family service with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie to finish and a candlelit midnight mass for those who can stay awake that long!
On Christmas day you can feast upon a delicious locally reared fresh Herefordshire turkey together with a scrumptious locally made Plum Pudding (steeped in something yummy. Your turkey and pud are complimentary and will be delivered to you on Christmas Eve for you to cook at your leisure (Veggie alternatives are available).
Boxing day has its traditional Hunt gathering (no foxes involved) making quite a spectacle in Bromyard's market square. Follow that with traditional Morris dancing at the local hostelry and a leisurely walk back to a roaring fire in the comfort of your cottage.
You can enjoy a 5 night Christmas break from Wednesday 23rd – Monday 28th December 2009. Your chosen cottage/s will be festively decorated with local greenery and berries and a beautifully hand-dressed tree with twinkling light provides that festive finishing touch.
For New Year, choose a 3, 4 or 5 night celebration between Tuesday 29th December 2009 – Sunday 3rd January 2010 and celebrate with our compliments with a bottle of champagne chilling in each fridge and enough fresh local bacon and sausage for a New Year’s Day brunch for everyone. Your chosen cottage/s will be festively decorated with local greenery and berries and a beautifully hand-dressed tree with twinkling light provides that festive finishing touch.
Included in the price of both breaks is the luxury of our Gold Maid Service, enabling you and your party to simply ‘Get up and Go’ at the end of your stay. Leave the breakfast crocks in the sink and forget the cleaning, mopping and scrubbing – everything will be polished back to perfection for you upon your departure.
